Milk Supply Agreement and Handbook
South-West Victoria and South Australia - Statement of Circumstances
Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) will enter into a Milk Supply Agreement with you, for the supply of milk during the 2023/24 milk year subject to:
- your farm(s) being located in South-West Victoria and South Australia, being a farm located in South-West Victoria which is defined as west of the Calder Highway and south of the latitudinal line between Bendigo, Horsham and the South Australia/Victoria border or a farm located in South Australia;
- SDA’s reasonable determination (acting in good faith) that you are able to comply with the Saputo Animal Welfare Policy, Saputo Supplier Code of Conduct and Saputo Sustainable Agriculture Policy (each detailed in Chapter 8 of the Supplier Handbook, attached as Schedule 2 to the Milk Supply Agreement). If you have been a past supplier to SDA, we may review your history of compliance in making such reasonable determination;
- SDA’s reasonable determination (acting in good faith) that you are capable of meeting the terms of the Milk Supply Agreement, including the Milk Quality Standard (detailed in Chapter 4 of the Supplier Handbook, attached as Schedule 2 to the Milk Supply Agreement) and the Milk Collection and On Farm Requirements (detailed in Chapter 7 of the Supplier Handbook, attached as Schedule 2 to the Milk Supply Agreement). If you have been a past supplier to SDA, we may review your history of compliance in making such reasonable determination; and
- SDA not already having entered into sufficient milk supply agreements to meet SDA’s demand for milk.
Unless exceptional circumstances arise, SDA does not intend to enter into individual negotiations concerning this milk supply agreement template with individual suppliers.
