Production of our new Sunpro Instantised WPC80 is now underway and we’re super excited about being able to supply this innovative product to the booming sports nutrition market in China and India.

We’ve produced standard WPC80 since the 1990s, but the market’s needs have evolved. Today’s sports nutrition consumers expect products that mix effortlessly, and instantised WPC80 delivers exactly that. By applying a fine layer of lecithin to the powder particles, the ingredient disperses quickly in liquid making it easy to blend and ideal for post‑workout shakes.

Why is WPC good for sports nutrition?

WPC has high protein content (around 80 percent on a dry basis) and is considered the gold standard in sports nutrition because it is:

• A complete protein, containing all nine essential amino acids
• Rich in branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) like leucine, which is critical for muscle protein synthesis.
• Digested quicky, making it ideal for post-workout nutrition
• Neutral in flavour, which is easy to mix with minimal ingredients
