Kiewa employees keep community spirit flowing
Our Kiewa site is proud to be giving back to the local community through a wide range of sponsorships and donations that support health, well-being and connection. From supplying dairy products and cooler bags for the Annual Milk Run, to fuelling athletes at CrossFit TMA’s 24 Hours of Heroes event, the Kiewa team is making a meaningful difference.
“We know how important community is in the regions where we live and work,” said Mark Sedgwick, Site Manager at SDA Kiewa. “Being able to support events that bring people together and promote healthy lifestyles is something we take great pride in.”
SDA’s commitment to the community goes beyond one-off events. The Kiewa site provides weekly donations of yoghurt pouches to local Net Set Go and AusKick programs and supports Wodonga Primary School’s breakfast club, helping kids start the day with the nutrition they need to thrive. The site also proudly backs the Kiewa Sandy Creek football and netball clubs and sponsors Bravehearts on the Murray, raising vital funds for breast and ovarian cancer research.
“Whether it’s on the sporting field or in the classroom, we want to help create opportunities for people to thrive,” Mr Sedgwick added.
In addition to event sponsorships, the Kiewa site maintains regular food donations to Albury Wodonga FoodShare, supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity.
“Giving back isn’t just a one-off,” said Mr Sedgwick. “It’s part of who we are. We’re committed to making a lasting, positive impact in our region.”
