Our teams in Laverton and Leongatha recently rolled up their sleeves for our Big Cook Up initiative, partnering with Eat Up to help feed disadvantaged school children across Australia.

In Laverton, 22 volunteers put their supply chain skills to the test, producing an impressive 1,017 cheese sandwiches in just 30 minutes using our CHEER cheese and Devondale butter, only stopping when the bread ran out! The Leongatha team matched that energy, with 18 team members making 2,132 sandwiches in one hour and 25 minutes, averaging around 25 sandwiches a minute.

All sandwiches were delivered by Eat Up to schools with vulnerable students, helping ensure no child goes without lunch. Since joining the initiative in March 2024, our Big Cook Ups have helped deliver more than 20,000 meals to children in need.
